Last Tuesday was our last meeting together for the 2010-2011 school year. We worshiped, shared communion together, affirmed each other and prayed together. It was a wonderful evening.
We also met with the returning students this week planning next year's activities. The students planned a picnic, dessert night, harbor cruise, game night and movie night. We even planned all the way to the Christmas Party in December. We were impressed with their excitement to reach out to the campus and have fun together, too.
Now, we as staff, will spend a week planning next year and making assignments for our work this summer. We are all tired and ready for a short break, but we do not stop working in the summer. We all work on our content and training materials during the summer months. I love the time to be able to spend studying and meditating on God. He refills and refreshes me in the summer.
We are still face a challenge of paying our outstanding bills from this year and last, but we had three churches come through to help us pay for our Easter Dinner and Year End Celebration. Thank you so much for your continued prayers concerning our finances, both ministry and personal.
